The Birdy lamp series was originally produced and sold for many years by the Norwegian electric company Sønnico (Oslo). In 1954, the table lamp—then known as "s-30016"—received the prestigious Golden Medal at the Milan Triennale, a testament to its innovative design and functionality.
In 2013, this iconic design was reintroduced with great care to maintain its original form and practical features that made it a beloved classic.
