Bouquet Wall Lamp Inspired by Havana Art Deco Architecture

Located at 406 Paseo, between 17th and 19th Streets in the Vedado district of Havana, Cuba, this grand residence historically known as Casa de la Amistad was commissioned by the wealthy landowner Juan Pedro Baró for himself and his wife, Catalina Lasa.

Construction began around 1922 and was completed in 1927.
The architecture combines several influences. The façade draws from the Florentine Renaissance, while the interiors follow an Art Deco style and include subtle Egyptian details.
In this setting, a sculptural wall lamp with a bouquet-like shape was used in the interior. Its upward form resembles a tied group of flowers and serves both a decorative and a soft lighting purpose.
